Her son MJ was born at just 26 weeks and spent his life defying every prediction placed in front of him. Over the course of his journey, they navigated hundreds of hospital stays, countless procedures, brain surgeries, feeding tubes, wheelchairs, therapies, and diagnoses. Yet somehow, MJ remained the happiest person in every room he entered.
For nearly a decade, he taught her more about resilience, gratitude, perspective, and unconditional love than she could have learned anywhere else. He changed the way she sees people, the way she serves clients, and the way she moves through the world.
When MJ passed away in November 2023, life as Sabreena knew it changed forever. In the midst of grief, her family packed up everything they had ever known and started over in Mississippi. Building a new life while carrying such a profound loss has been one of the hardest things she has ever done—but it has also strengthened her belief that beauty, healing, and connection matter.
